After much consideration, and a growing attachment to my XT-1 i have decided to sell off most of my Pentax gear and build up my Fuji lense collection.
So this lense will be the first to go.
The Sigma 100-300 F4 EX APO IF, boxed and in great condition, apart from the usual peeling Sigma coating mainly around the tripod collar meets the lense body.
Complete with carry case and Kenko UV filter.
Up for £650 + £15 delivery by RMSD, i aim to post within 24 hours
Collection from London SE23 also welcome.
Paypal or bank transfer UK only
Here it is

I thought it may help your sale if you mentioned it ... the hood is near impossible to source if it doesn't have one.

I am sure I am not going to help you with this , buying a Sigma 100-300 really does not cost anything. The moment you want to sell it you will get your money back. And if Pentax releases a FF camera.....

In my view, the 100-300, there are many more 50-135 for sale

how true - I bought mine 5 years ago (and for less than you are quite reasonably asking!) and certainly sell it for more than that now!
K-3 II, K-3 and a K-70 from SRS (having now relegated the K-30 /"K-50" to a backup body), & some Sigma and Pentax lenses (and a lot of old 35mm gear!)

Any example of this lens that is fine optically is a "must own" optic as far as Pentax is concerned. If this had ever been made by Pentax it would be a 2K lens today due to its rarity and superb optical performance.

Best regards
Inspiration is rarer than a plate glass camera.....

Still umm!!! but thanks for all your encouragement

Do I need it? I already have the DA*300, EX 70-200 APO, 150-500 and the HD1.4x, the 70-200 works well with the HD1.4X.
Cheers
Brian.

I don't have the DA*300 or the HD1.4x but I do have the EX70-200 non-HSM and the 150-500 HSM, and the 100-300 +Sigma 1.4X TC is pretty much as fast as the first to focus (especially on the K-3 with the stronger screw-drive motor) and definitely faster than the 150-500! - so it stays on the K-3 at airshows whilst the 70-200 might be on the K-5.

OTOH, the 150-500 is a bit of a non-starter on both of them in the same situation - Sigma serviced it thoroughly during the summer and changed the motor, but did not charge me (!!!!) because they were not sure if it was actually faulty, and so I'm not sure why I'm keeping it but still hoping to find a really good use for it.
