Standard, normal, nifty-fifty, the original kit lens can all describe the humble 50mm lens. In part one, John Riley starts the 50mm round up with the history and choices of lenses from the film era, which can still be put to good use today.

Having another re-jig of my gear.
firstly I have a 16-85, which took a tumble last Christmas. There is a piece missing from the filter thread, and 2 small scratches on the extremity of the front element. I am sure these are outside the image circle, as they have never shown up. It has been pointed out to me, that this copy suffers from decentering. I have included shots wide open of a wall for you to decide for yourself how bad it is. I have also included a shot in real world usage to show how well (even with the damage) it performs. I will include the amazon basics CPL pictured.
Looking for £180.00 or very near offers to include RMSD. Reason for selling is I have now bought a sigma 17-50 2.8, and having a damaged K-3, weather sealed lenses are no longer an advantage for me.
Next I have an F50 f/1.7 prime. I bought this less than 2 weeks ago, specifically for a family members wedding id been asked to shoot. Having now done the wedding, and already owning a 50mm 2.8 macro, which serves me well for my everyday shots. This is going back on the market. I payed £90 including postage. I'm happy to take a £10 hit for my usage, so this is selling for £80 including RMSD. I havent taken any photos of this lens, but if you scroll down the adverts forum, you will find rightontimes advert for this exact lens with pictures.
Payments by bank transfer or paypal gift. Thanks
