Does the Pentax 67 work and fit with the 'Hot'shoe 67ii version ?

I don't know anything about those camera models, but if you want to use a flash on the camera then ideally you need a hot shoe , that seems logical.
I'm assuming a coldshoe is for using a flash with a simple PC cord, certainly not as convenient as a flash that communicate more through a hot shoe.
I didn't really feel I understood your question exactly, but I hope this might start some useful discussion in any case!

Hey Thanks for the reply, let me try and clarify my problem.
The Pentax 67 comes with a coldshoe wooden handle but the newer version of the Pentax, the ii comes with a hotshoe wooden handle. I don't know if the ii version will work with the older 67 version. I haven't really been able to find anything online about it, I did see a comment that said 'no' it wouldn't but I don't see why it wouldn't?
Thanks

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you are referring to. If we are talking about 67 medium format cameras (which was my assumption) then I don't understand the question about them working together. Why would two cameras need to work together with hot or cold shoes?
Perhaps some more detail about exact models, or a description of what exactly you are trying to do would get more knowledgable members to join in ......

I'm sure it was clear enough to anyone who knew anything about Pentax 67 cameras ..... It was amazing to see those images of such a beast! That thread at PF that Jak found is interesting too .... One poster said it fits any 67 cameras, it's just the issue of how to connect the flash if needed. That does seem to answer it ... It seems to be a standard size and fitting.
