What happend about the copyright on the music used in slide shows, do you need a licence.
After 50 years I understand music becomes copyright free, although some Four Seasons tracks are marked "copyright renewed" but I don't know how Bob Gaudio and Frankie Valli did that.
The mass of compilations of 1950s music are presumably copyright free though by now, and that will have extended to about 1962/3. Wasn't Cliff Richard quite annoyed about this?
Best regards
Nigel
Nice, i like this way of showing off images.

Johns right about that,
U Tube normally will tell you and 7 times out of 10 it will be OK as your not selling there music your promoting it as well as you video or slide show or what ever your showing, but like john says as for the new music well that's different you must read all the rules that U TUBE set down for you or you can and will end up in hot water.
Nice mate, you seem to have missed that shot of me out though
as for you Mr A well i didn't want you to sew me.
but i do thank all of you for your comments and support Big thanks
Can a individual purchase the a licence similar to what a camera club uses through the MCPS.
It's a really good way to show your images.
Regards
David
The shots seem to be a low resolution on my screen, is there a setting I need to chang eon you tube/ the laptop or is this the way they have to be for a slide show to work at the speed it does:
As you can seem I am clueless in terms of slide shows
