As you may be aware I have a surplus K-10. I decided to check it out and it appears that the sensor is out of alignment by about 2°.
Has anyone else had this problem.
Also noticed that when the SR is turned off the sensor still rocks and rolls.
Anyone?

OK issue has been resolved.
I downloaded the debug file and corrected the focus issue.
I read that some viewfinders are slightly out of kilter so it's not likely to be fixable as the parts aren't available anymore.
I may or may not keep it, I'm giving it a run out this afternoon.

My K10D bought from Jacobs in 2007 apparently had a twisted sensor. Others mentioned this on my gallery shots; one of the steam loco shots and the couple at the top of Snowdon. I didn't use PhotoME until a couple of years in but found that my first shot was about the 400-and-something-th shutter actuation.

As a lot of these issues are, it's reported on the US forum. I'm not saying that adjusting the focus has solved the issue but it doesn't appear to be as much of a major issue as it was.
I'm just going through some pictures now- given the hellish contrast at the time I was taking the pictures(lovely harsh overhead sunlight) they seem ok, certainly as far as the focusing issue is concerned.
