Both bright and moody at the same time. I like these.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Interesting set of images. I really like 2 and 3. 2 looks rather spooky...could make a good horror book cover. I really like the leaves and raindrops in 3. I like the flower in 4 but I think the lights distract from it. The colour, shapes and textures are worth a pic by itself in my humble opinion. Sally

Last 2 on my screen are pretty bright but the first 3 are superb. I particularity like number 3 for the depth in the shadows and the delicate exposure of the light on the leaves

thanks for comments and looking. Still getting to grips with this lens in terms of subject matter, find the 1meter min focus distance a bit of a bind but love the subject seperation that can be had if you get it right. The rose and the red pod appear to have a 3 dimensional look for me.

Another thumbs up here

I'd have 2 and 3 on my wall.

Thanks for sharing and keep experimenting I say

The darkness really adds character to these, Joe. I'll take the polaroid transfer, but they're all fine.
