DA*60-250mm at IWM Duxford 01/05/09

Nice pictures, but possibly due to the sun being directly overhead, they look a bit flat.

I tend to agree, plus I think theyre a tad overexposed, adjusting the levels a bit would bring them to life, on the second shot I would crop the sky out completely.
PS; I'm only jealous cos' I dont have the 60-250 yet
Amin, I'm getting on well with the monopod, on Sunday I went to the Spring Air Show at the Shuttleworth Collection and all of the flying display photos were taken with the monopod in use and I got some really sharp images using it
Using a monopod does ask for some practice though (still learning myself), have you tried for some shot with longer exposures yet?
Thanks for all your comments.

Cool
I am getting mine today. Got the set just like Mike-P had mentioned, thought it was a good deal, got the Redsnapper tripod and the monopod also. Fantastic price. But instead of the three way head I chose the ball head. Had a quick chat with the gentleman on the phone while ordering and he was fantastically helpful. Can't wait for it to arrive .
I use a Benbo monopod, essential with the Bigma and Amin I think you made the right choice with a ball head.
The benefit of a monopod over a tripod is you can leave the SR switched on
Great to hear that Alan, Just took the delivery of my new shiny tripod and monopod )) going out to try it. So I keep the SR on while using the mono, right?
Watch the space for birdies now, a few have hatched in my backgarden
Rob, you uploading some more beauties of those metal birds? Eager to see some more stunners with that lens
Amin,
That's the best of the bunch from my day at Duxford although I did take one with the 1.7x which I'll post in due course. I'll post some of my trip to the Shuttleworth Collection as well.
Rob
I took some of this pilot in her aircraft taxing and some were very out of focus so I need some more practice in that respect
