D-BG4 Not working

I have recently noticed that my battery grip has stopped working. The only function that does work is the preview button e.g. Depth of field preview, when you move the on/off button to the preview sign.
Any thought on why most of the functions aren't working would be greatly appreciated.

Take it off the body, are any of the gold pins stuck down?
