hello,
i am thinking about creating a small website for my photos, the idea is not to store many pics, but just be able to show a few.
i want it to look very nice and professional, artistic.
I believe lightroom might be able to a bit, then i did a bit of html coding awhile ago.. i was wondering if anyone had tips or have used any services.

thanks in advance

You could do worse than have a look at www.webpage-maker.com

You don't need to know how to code using their software, it does it for you, so you can use it in its entirety or as a base and add your own bits.

Available as a 2-week trial so you can see if you get along with it.

I've used it and have a spare PC which I use as a server, which avoids hosting fees

I liked it, so I paid the small fee to unlock it after the trial and doing this also removes their banner which will be present throughout the trial period.

For routing, have a look at no-ip.com - again that is free and offers some pretty good domains.
