I can see some merit in the first one. It may have been better if the sharpness of the lines at the edge had carried right across. How did you do it? I'm afraid for me the second one does not work.

I really like the first one. I could hang that on my wall quite happily.
The second one doesn't work for me. It makes me think I need stronger glasses! I am searching for patterns in it, and trying to focus it. It doesn't offer the serenity the of the first.

Yes
At the risk of sounding just like the other responses - #1 works exceptionally well - and I like the balance between the two sides. #2 is a rather more 'challenging' work
