Contrasting Activities on The Isle of Mull (Image Heavy)

Just got back from a couple of days on the Isle of Mull for rally weekend. I wasn't with a competing team this year so just went up for a short break without any time pressure, which meant I could just relax and soak up the atmosphere.... and take some pictures. I was camping, so obviously it rained solidly!

I was going to split the images up int themes, but thought I'd show the contrasting sides of what goes on.

All with the K1 II and FA31 or DA200, apart from Croig which is the KM and DA40

The rally pictures are superb....as are the Salen wrecks.

Love the last one for a bit of humour.

What you need are lenses, more lenses, bigger lenses, better lenses, faster lenses, vintage lenses and when you have these, your pictures will be perfect!

Good to see them as a complete set offering the contrasts of subjects -looks like you had an enjoyable (and rather soggy) time

Thanks all for the positive comments, I'll post up a similarly eclectic mix shortly.

I didn't actually see as much of the event as I normally do despite not having a car to look after this year. I had planned on just relaxing and trying to see more of the amazing wildlife that I don't normally get chance to capture (otters, deer, eagles seals, whales etc). But the weather put paid to that, so I mostly spent time in the service area at Craignure as there is always a great atmosphere and it was close to where I was camping. It's definitely worth making the trip, just prepare to spend a long day and night out on the stages as you have limited opportunity to move around whilst the road closures are in place. Oh, and prepare for all weathers
