Thanks all for the positive comments, I'll post up a similarly eclectic mix shortly.
I didn't actually see as much of the event as I normally do despite not having a car to look after this year. I had planned on just relaxing and trying to see more of the amazing wildlife that I don't normally get chance to capture (otters, deer, eagles seals, whales etc). But the weather put paid to that, so I mostly spent time in the service area at Craignure as there is always a great atmosphere and it was close to where I was camping. It's definitely worth making the trip, just prepare to spend a long day and night out on the stages as you have limited opportunity to move around whilst the road closures are in place. Oh, and prepare for all weathers
