Considering sale of Pentax K1.

Good afternoon all. After careful and long thought I am thinking of parting with my K1. Simply too heavy for me to carry around anymore. Shutter count 29,831 hatched 29.02.16. No idea of value, I would rather it went to someone on this forum, no idea of value I consider it as good+ I will be prepared to let it go for a reasonable price, or a straight swap for a decent lens of comparable value, I have many lenses so obviously a lens I do not own. (a 43mm Limited would be nice)

A straight swap with a 43mm LTD would be a bit mad. Your K-1 is worth around £800+ ... the 43mm would be about half that.

Quite happy to go and buy a used 43mm and swap though

Thanks also regarding you lens, I have a few long lenses and I am looking for sub 100mm. My go to at moment is 18-135 WR. I have 70-210 Sigma. F135, F28, FA50, F100 Macro, 70mm Ltd. etc. Numerous A & M & K series also which I will never part with.

If you are getting rid of the K-1 I presume you will be using a crop body?

Yes I will. I am fortunate in having a K3ii and K70, which is my go to because it is the lightest.

Do you mean battery grip? Or have you got the ultra rare K1 that uses 35mm film?

A decent description of the camera and grip would probably help along with some photos. Marks on body/screen, boxed with accessories ... that sort of thing.
