Hope I am in the right area.
I have a K3 with the kit lenses, I think they are brilliant, I bought a "nifty fifty" from "A", my query is, is there an adapter to enable me to use my Canon lenses on my K3?
I have searched, and e mailed several firms and it seems that it cant be done?
Any help would be appreciated

I don't think it can be done, but ask SRB Griturn and they will tell you the definitive answer.

Can't be done the Canon Flange focal distance is shorter than the Pentax one.

It can be done but it is fully manual and only capable of close focusing as the adapter acts like an extension tube. I very much doubt it is worth the effort.

It can defintely be done for the Canon FD (35 mm) film SLR lenses. I bought an adaptor from eBay. Most seem to be made in Hong Kong or China.

A has already been mentioned, other lenses can only be used in manual mode, but you can set the lens's focal length in the camera and most Pentax cameras will show a red indicator in the viewfinder when focus is achived.

The red indicator in the viewfinder do not show when focus is achieved, this is shown by the green hexagon at the bottom of the screen.

The one for the FD lenses uses optics to make it into a 1.4x TC. So you lose a stop and have a longer focal length which isn't ideal if the FD lens is a wide angle.
