On the topic of lens hoods, you often see metal hoods from China on Ebay. I have bought several of them - they are very good indeed.

30 quid actually isn't bad for eight Takumar hoods, though most if not all were for telephoto lenses.

I would have liked the hood for my 85mm. Sometimes these hoods go for £30 each...

Not mine - although I can imagine these might be useful on lenses other than Takumars.
Also might be worth buying to boost the value of certain lenses (85/1.8 for example).
I doubt they'll stick around for long.
