Can Nikon AF Lenses be used on Pentax K10D?
Best regards, John
... and would like to know if there is anyway I could use these on my Pentax by using an adapter?
There is but it'll be with limited functionality

No af, no exif, no infinity.
Personally I would stick them on Ebay and once sold buy the same lenses back in Pentax mount with the proceeds.
you sure about no ∞ ? - The Nikon registration distance is greater. I remember my canon shooting buddy putting a Canon f.1,2 FD ( I think ) on his EOS mount and he couldn'tget infinity because the reg distyance of the lens was shorter.

Just not worth the hassle imo ... I sometimes use my Pentax lenses on the Canon 7D but it's so much hassle I rarely bother.

I concur - tried only one Nikkor AF lens on K20d mounted directly without adapter and infinity was not a problem .....it was MicroNikkor 105/2.8 and photos were amazingly sharp....so it could work, of course AF and compatibility is gone and it has to be used as old manual lens...

Forgive me if this type of post has been posted before. if it has please re-direct me to the relevant part of the site.
I have been given two Nikon AF lenses and wondered if they could be used on the Pentax K10D.
I was given a Sigma 105mm f2.8 EX lens and a Sigma 170-500 and would like to know if there is anyway I could use these on my Pentax by using an adapter? Would you recommend it? or should I obtain a used Nikon to use them on?
Best regards,
Paul
