Camera bodies and lenses for sale

I've made the decision to move to a mirrorless system for reasons of weight rather than any dissatisfaction with the Pentax system - indeed I've been more than happy with all my equipment and the great images it has allowed me to produce over the years.

So I've decided to sell all my kit. I've had a quote for part exchange from Wex, but wondered whether anybody else would be interested before I accept their offer.
The prices listed below need shipping added at whatever it costs, and no offers please as I know what Wex will pay me.

All the items are in very good condition, and I can provide a few images if requested, but with this amount of equipment I'm sure you'll understand why I haven't put images up.

I'll be accepting Wex's offer tomorrow evening - Monday 14th December.

As a matter of interest, what system did you decide upon, Tim? I'm betting full-frame Sony...
Best wishes,

Andrew

You'd be wrong Andrew, it's a mirrorless APS-C.

I have a pin sharp A1 print on my landing wall taken on my K5-IIs, hand held at 1/30s 640 ISO, that tells me that I have no need for full-frame

Hi tim.
Do you know what the shutter count is on the k5 ii s.

Shutter count is 83,000 - I take a lot of pictures
The body is in excellent condition though, I do look after my equipment.

It's got to be Fuji!
Lots of gear - but not a lot of idea!

Then I'll go for a Sony a6000. Quite fancy one myself but the lenses are a bit dear.
Or maybe Fuji X-T 1. Would Tim go all retro on us?
The Canon M series cameras are much better than folk think but have no viewfinder. Tim might find that a serious omission.
No, got to be the little Sony: never read anything bad about them.
Best wishes,

Andrew

As you're interested Andrew I've messaged you with what I've bought.

With my Pentax it always felt like an extension of my hand, and as I use natural light which can change rapidly I loved it's ease of use, allowing me to keep up my rapport with the model while making adjustments. My new camera has a similar ease of use, in fact it feels just like a Pentax to me

Apart from the people who have been in touch with me already I'm not accepting any more offers.

Thanks to everybody for all the comments on my images over the years. If I was starting out again with what I know now I would still have chosen Pentax, it's a great system.

I hope you all enjoy your photography as much as I do in the future, and I wish you all good light

Thanks and Goodbye.

Sigma 100-300mm F4 HSM APO - Pentax Fit £290

Sigma never made a HSM version of the 100-300mm f4 in Pentax mount.

Excellent price for a fantastic lens though, congrats to the buyer.

Shame to see you go though Timbo.
