These are still available from Calumet. For full details see https://www.calphoto.co.uk/product/Calumet-7-LCD-HDMI-Monitor/DF0200?tracking=|searchterm:field|monitor

In excellent condition with instructions and box. I will also include a spare battery.

Note that the HDMI cable supplied is compatable with Pentax cameras up to the K5 series. The K3 and K1 have a smaller HDMI socket so will require an adaptor or a different cable (easily obtainable).

£150 delivered to UK. Though I will need to check who will deliver stuff with lithium batteries - I hope that Royal Mail will.

(showing my ignorance) .... Is this for viewing prior to taking a picture in live view or simply post viewing of the result?

It effectively gives you a camera with a 7 inch rear screen. It shows whatever would be on the camera rear screen (but much larger). When switched on and connected the camera screen is blank and is replaced by the monitor. In live view or playback it shows whatever would have been on the screen. Particularly useful for video but can also be used for stills. The number of connections at the rear suggests there may also be other uses that I have not explored. The Velcro you can see at the side is for connecting the included sun hood, which is useful for outdoor work.

The monitor does not have to be on the camera. With a longer lead it could be placed anywhere - on a lighting stand or similar.

As long as the battery is packaged and the terminals covered it should be ok....I received my grip with a spare battery and the package had a huge label plastered on it,...

Received in good order with extra goodies, thank you. It's a bit of a sod to handle and set up (you need three hands) but it works a treat and I didn't have to squint - that's got to be good. Picture quality on it is first class.
