Best places to buy 35mm colour film, and best places to get it developed and printed?

So, Topic Title sums it up, really.

I thought I'd try a little analogue photography, but like everyone I guess I'd like to keep costs down.

Anyone help me with where the best places are for buying film then getting it processed and developed please? Maybe scanned too?

Thanks.

Any more info would be helpful, e.g.: Film Type: B&W neg, Colour neg, B&W slide (unusual but does exist), Colour Slide, Polaroid. Film Size e.g.: 35mm or 120, other sizes are available both larger and smaller. Film Speed: a wide range of B&W speeds are available, Colour less so.

Have a look at for example:

Analogue Wonderland link

Nik & Trick link

There are quite a few other companies in the UK.

Thanks

Personally I would develop the negative film at home.
It really is a simple process, even I managed back in the mid 80s with Slide, colour negative and B@W negative all in the comfort of my parents bathroom
For 35mm negatives a Patterson developing tank along with an accurate thermometer
If I was able to manage this in the mid eighties, then it should be a doodle today with all the youtube videos.
The resulting negatives will beat most commercial labs as you learn the technique.
Now scanning that negative later is a different story but you will have an excellently developed negative to start with because of the control you have with high quality developer chemicals, stoppers and rinses. The key

Thanks for the links and suggestion re home developing.

The film I'm after is C41 35mm colour. Not too othered about speed.

As to home development and printing, been there in the days of b&w. Enjoyed it, but then discovered girls! Much more interesting hobby.

I will certainly recommend Analogue Wonderland. Excellent service and excellent results.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
