.I think this is one of those images that suits both, I do have a slight favourite - but what do you think?

Both equally superb. This particular image seems to suit both approaches.

The image does suit both, but for me its the colour version - adds texture I feel!

The light reflection on the pews/benches is more pronounced in the colour version.. Also the electric lighting on the wall. So for that reason it would be my preferred choice...

I'd usually go for the B&W but on this occasion it's the colour version for me, but it's a close call.

How about trying a sepia toned B&W to keep the warmth of the colour version.

In any event if I'd taken this image I'd be very happy!

If it were a closer crop of just the ceiling i would say colour, but overall the b+w grabs me.

Tough choice, but for me its mono, the detail seems to pop more, where as in colour it kind of blends in, especially on the ceiling
I know what i like, If not always why.

I'm with Derek. The pop in the mono image is hard to resist for the top half of the image, while the bottom half suits colour. Maybe do a half and half just to have a bit of fun?

I like the ceiling of the Black and White, but the lower section of the colour.

Tough call as both are very effective, but probably the B&W for me for no compelling reason other than I really like B&W shots.

Colour one for me John... if only because for me it makes a clearer distinction between the two light sources that you have in this, natural light through the windows, and the warmer bulb light from the lamps...
