....said the man as I passed by on this beautiful June morning. Complete silence except for the skylarks and stonechats on Pentire Point, North Cornwall.Comment Image

Rare and lucky to be able to experience it. All that's missing from the pictures is a lark ascending...

Silence is good, as are these images. You can sense the atmosphere. Nice work.

Love the peace with oneself and nature, it is spiritually rewarding

Thanks all, it really is a place to refresh the soul with its fresh Atlantic air, wild flowers, insect and birds, and I walk there whenever I get the chance. Even the name of the National Trust farm where I park, Summerleaze, evokes the sense of the place.

I can only agree with you Rob. We regularly stay at the big white house on the headland above Port Quinn (National Trust) and sometimes it can be so peaceful you do indeed think, "Aren't we lucky". We will be back this year and looking forward to a Sunday roast at the farm shop you recommended.

Great pictures of a great part of the world. I will always remember a chap saying a similar quote to me on the South West Coastal path; "It's good for the soul".
