Speaking of meets in the North East I'm surprised no one has mentioned Whitby Goth Weekend yet, I will be traipsing round with Mrs Spider all weekend but if any of you chaps are going give me a shout, any excuse for coffee and a chat.
My Names Alan, and I'm a lensaholic.

sadly one of my best friends has chosen next sat to get married !!!! Bloody inconsiderate of her and I did suggest she change the date or move the venue 250 miles North East but she wasn't having any..so I'll be missing my first WGW out of the last 4 or 5

I'll be there in October / November though

We shall be there on Saturday with a coach from ADAPS, several of us getting into the spirit of things with various degrees of costume.

I have my Victorian frock coat and Victorian waistcoat, plus a genuine silver topped cane and possibly a top hat. This will blend impeccably with my Billingham Hadley Pro....

Sue has a magnificent dress made out of more material than I knew existed.

Bethany (Granddaughter) has a Victorian skirt and blouse outfit, Mark (Brother-in-Law) has a frock coat and medieval shirt, Diane (Mark's wife) has a Goth outfit proper.

All armed with Pentax cameras.
Best regards, John

I'm missing Whitby again this time, its now a couple of years since I went to the Goths. I shall make a determined effort to get there for the autumn festival.
