Sigh....

I had good laugh when I saw your pic Kris. And yes you did get ripped off, only lousy white ones
Hefty got the better deal, as we all know these are like cars and the red ones are always faster

I do hope you guys are able to get something off Paypal as compensation. With the fees they charge and this being an obvious scam they should return your payment, no questions asked.

Are they sure that the packages were not "opened in the post" and the flash removed and dymo labels inserted?

That would mean a claim against the Post Office.

Well i was a bit concerned that i would only end up with 1 roll of labels, but happily, since i ordered 3 flashes i have received 3 rolls of labels.

dispute opened with paypal accordingly.

What's interesting is that they have obviously been sent by a uk based forwarding company based in "The Mill, Horton Road" if you google that address i have found no less than 20 'companies' that offer frieght forwarding at that same address. Either i'm very suspicious, or there is some sculduggary going on here...

Anyone have a dymo Labelwriter and fancy some supplies??

If I remember correctly Paypal does not pay out the first £15 of any claim if the seller has no funds in their account as they keep that as an administration fee.

That's how it used to be anyway.

Also, did you have to sign for the package?

Nope, it was waiting on my door mat for me along with a new focusing screen for my Horseman, a set of Pentax M42 extension tubes for my S1a/ES and quite a few Christmas cards. Oh, and the latest PU magazine.

Cheers, Kris.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

That reminds me, I really should get round to opening my Xmas cards.
Fed up with looking at them sitting on the side.
