Hi, when viewing pics in the gallery and checking the exif details , amongst other things is f/stop and aperture value.
This is probably a silly question but, what is f/stop? I assume aperture value is the aperture setting ? If so, what is f/stop?

Thanks.

f/stop and aperture value are two different ways of expressing the same thing.

Take the focal length of the lens, divide it by the size of the opening, and you get the f/stop.

Exposure value is a base2 logarithmic scale.
