Another pointless thread

Well the big bird watch was a flop for us, we had nothing at all!

Could be the full feedersi gardens on either side of ours that were to blame but...

.. it was a good excuse to go and have a beer..

Honesty gave me a 3D printer that they had, it didn't work..

..but 2 hours tinkering and I now am happily printing out OO( gauge locos and stuff..

Looks like 2 hours well spent . Is that loco printed? It looks very good.

Yeah, those birds can be so unreliable. No birds for me a couple of years ago, then this year saw the most ever. As for the beer ... did you really need an excuse?

What! no 3D printed smoke & steam. Only kidding, top job HG, hope you enjoyed the beer.

All printed on a Creality Ender 3 pro, files downloaded free from thingyverse, changes made with various free programs.

Macro model railways - brilliant!!

And if Mrs HG complains about boys toys being left around the house, all you have to do is put it on a shelf until she's out of the way - even more brilliant!

Something as brilliant as that deserves a beer or three

So it looks like the end of the thread, it was fun while it lasted.

Or not.

I bought an electric pizza oven yesterday. I have not prepared a pizza for around 20 years (food tech at school!)

Definitely not. Only yesterday I was thinking it was about time to visit this thread again. But bindweed got in the way. Too much of it, a totally pointless weed that takes far too much time to keep under control. I'd rather be eating pizza...

Yep! keeping bindweed under control is a binding task alright but on the upside, it's not fattening like eating pizza and that's a much tougher tangle to keep under control...

Fast 800 diet works at keeping the pizzas at bay..

.. we went on it January last year and lost many pounds.

I'm the lightest I've been for decades which is making walking to the pub a lot easier.

Still takes a lot longer to walk home though...

A friend has just lost 2Kg on a 5 day package tour to Spain. His wife clocked 20,000 steps in one day dragging him round tourist traps. Not the cheapest way of losing weight, though.

Are you sure it wasn't 2kg of greenbacks that he lost at the tourist traps.

I'll find out next Monday, when we'll be spending the evening in a pub. He'll no doubt be putting the weight back on .

Holiodays!

Just back form a month cycling in Sweden..

.. we haven't bickered or argued the whole time.

Now having to fill out a claims form for a breakdown over there the air is blue..

Modern life and trying tosort out crap forms can destroy a months kama in seconds...

I want to go back to Sweden and the empty, uncomplicated life we had..
