An image of london when looking down from the plane

I took the picture on my flight back to Heathrow. Clouds covered the earth during most of my journey but the city broke out of the clouds when the plane was descending.

It was quite dark outside, 1/15, f2.8 ISO 800, that's the best I could do. The view was magnificent but I couldn't capture it properly, what a pity

It's an atmospheric photo, with the city emrging from the bank of cloud, and the streetlights are perfectly balanced with the exposure of the sky. Lovely!

I'd be chuffed with that shot, you've not over exposed the sky but got plenty of detail of the ground
