A walk to Aberlady Beach
Excellent Swan shot too!
Edit: PS I think I prefer the 1st sub shot as you can see how small it is, and I like the footprints behind it. I love the sparkles off the water in both shots!

I'm troubled by the apparently curved horizon in the last two though. Is it a real distortion?

On the "View back towards Edinburgh" shot, you can just see the subs out on the beach away out towards the water line in the centre of the pic. That shows just how low a tide you need to get good access to them. Beware the tide!!! it comes in fast.

I might just have to have a walk over that way.
Number 4 for me
Pentax K10d, *istDL, Kit lens ( 18-55mm ), 50mm f1.7 lens, Tamron 70-300mm lens, Prinzflex 70-162 manual lens, Various old flashes.
Anyone know if there's any way i can remove the distortion using CS4?
Would love to get a better lens, but money is very tight.

We must avoid however, snapping away, shooting quickly and without thought, overloading ourselves with unnecessary images that clutter our memory and diminish the clarity of the whole. - Henri Cartier-Bresson -

Well, you can in CS3 (Filter > Distort > Lens correction) so I'm sure you can in CS4.
Would love to get a better lens, but money is very tight.

Best wishes, Kris.
It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

I'll have a go at the blown highlights in the clouds on the first two at a later date before i print them. It's good to get all the input though. It was difficult to capture though, as i was shooting more or less directly into the sun and there's a HUGE range of tonal difference in the subject.

One of the mini subs. I have two shots here from slightly different perspective and would be glad to hear people's preference. I think they both have their own qualities which is making it difficult for me to choose which one to print.

Hope you like them!
