Day 2 of my trip out was around Malham. Another lovely sunny day and far too much to post in one go, so first up concentrates on water. K3 + DA 16-85. Please feel free to comment, as always.
1 The approach to Janet's Foss ...

2

3 ... which is this waterfall

4

5 On to Gordale Scar ...

6 ... and back into the sunlight.

7 The approach to Malham Cove ... lighting difficulties solved (I hope) by B&W conversion ...

8 ... ditto

9 A slightly different angle and smaller aperture help too...

10 -- and Malham Cove.

I think no 8 stands out for me. The bare branches really contrast with the sky.

Another lovely meander through gorgeous scenery - particularly like the 2 mono conversions

All of them are good but I particularly like No.2.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Again a place I know well and some great shots to remind of walks I've done around there. A good time of year to go with not many people about and a no leaves on the trees obscuring Malham Cove. For me I like the shot of Gordale Scar and number 6 looking back at the Scar. You weren't tempted to test the K3 weatherproofing by scrambling up Gordale Scar.

Thanks, Paul. I did contemplate the scramble, but chickened out (not for the first time!) That's one scramble that I have always thought is asking for trouble, esp. with a camera.
