I think it must be an algorithm based on the frequency of initial views and favourites it has received. I've had 4 of my images 'Explored' so far, one has reached nearly 20,000 views and almost 1,000 favourites to date. I'm not sure it's very meaningful, but it's nice all the same to have lots of people looking at one of your images.

Ha'penny bridge here, too. Love the B+W version, but the colour version, having kept the building on the far side, gives the viewer/virtual streetwalker a place to go - it's even a place to go to, it being indeed, as Bill has said, rather on the warm side.
