I enjoyed your post. The K-1 and LX show an evolution in Pentax.

Some very fine glass you have there too.

Evolution always revolving around some unique features. The glass is not mine but fine it truly is.

An enjoyable post (and Blog images) - As others have said these are pretty rare lenses and they still hold up well against modern lenses in many situations. The A*135/1.8 is probably the rarest, but my favourite is the A*85 - I've had several copies over the years and I keep selling them off after convincing myself I only need the FA*, but inevitably I trip over an over-priced A*85 and the memories flood back

Please keep posting

I enjoyed shooiting with all three but I also seem to have preference for the A*85. It is a perfect portrait lens. As the friend says we can share permanently his lenses between us and he is planning to buy K-1 in the future, I am likely to post more here...

A great story and some lovely images to go with it. I also enjoyed the images on your blog that you provided the link to. I think that many (most?) of the members here have various 'old' Pentax lenses that they use on a regular basis simply because they are really good quality and lovely to use.

I look forward to seeing more of your images.

Phil

Thanks. I hope to be able to use the lenses more as they really grow on me.

Thanks, I think Pentax deserves somepne more talented than I am; still, what an enjoyable experience it was!

I for one am looking forward to seeing more. Thank you Jarek
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

We should give credit where it's due.

Thank you. I have neglected recently my blog, as I have had a lot other work helping me to pay my bills. But a slower time is coming and I will revisit photographic stuff, including Pentax affairs. A friend has just bought a SMC Pentax-A* 300mm f/2.8 ED (IF), which he will kindly lend me.
