The detail in the Blue Tit is fantastic. Were you on a walk about or are they taken from a hide?

Well, I was sat in the car Barry! I put a camouflage net over the car, sat back and watched the action unfold! The car was that well covered, I even had a Nuthatch fly in the open door then out the other side, where the window was open!!
I admit it was lazy, but I had been up for about 20hrs by then.....

Bolam lake is a good venue for birds but if you park in the cafe car park you do not need a camo net as the bird are so used to folks feeding them.
I have even had Coal Tits land on the lens hood of my 150 -500 when i was hand holding it!
Good shots by the way.

Cheers gents. Alan and George, I know what you mean about them being used to people. The camo net was to try and help with the Jays and Woodpecker. Got a couple of the woody but it, and the Jays were way too skittish. Mind, I did find the others were taking their time more when I wasn't so obvious, instead of flitting quickly in and out.
