i think the main reason for updating K-5 is to change the image of poor QA.

Hoya are unlikely to be bothered about that They wash their hands of it in a months time and then it's up to Ricoh.

They also need to be careful not to alienate K-5 owners or they will just switch brands.

New lenses are desperately needed before a new camera body. Particularly an Xmm to 400mm

What I would like to see is a Nex style mirrorless body that will fit the pancake lenses that Pentax already make. A large sensor slim body with slim lenses sounds ideal to me. I guess it's not so simple though because of the registration distance (is that the correct term?)

A grip for the k5 with inbuilt 3g and similar card so I can upload straight to FTP without need for PC. Can only be a short time away....
