Vic is a long time Pentax User and a good friend to us here, so it is sad indeed to have to report, in his own words, that Vic has kicked the bucket. I have spoken to Vic on several occasions and he was a friendly, extremely knowledgable and helpful photographer.

Thank you to Vic's daughter-in-law for letting me know, condolences to all his family and may Vic RIP.
Best regards, John

My sincerest condolences to Vic’s family and friends. It’s always sad hearing of forum member’s passing.
His words remind me of a joke I heard some time ago.

I remember the last words my grandad told me before he kicked the bucket.
He said,
“How far do you reckon I could kick this bucket?”

Somewhat upsetting to say the least. I never had the pleasure of meeting the gentlemen but connections form, even on forums.

I would echo Peter's words above.

Echoing the thoughts of folk above, I enjoyed Vic's posts and he was a valued member of the forum.

Lovely photo Flan and thank you John for letting us know.

My thoughts are with his family and friends.

Getting older and grumpier. Taking longer to decide which lens to use today.

He had a great sense of humour...especially liked his quip about not buying green bananas anymore!

May his soul find peace and new vistas to explore and condolences to his family.
