A choice.... which to sell...

I haven't owned either of these but I do own a pair of K5iis and for me they are as much as I can envisage I will need from an APS-C body. I've owned later models, and they each have significant improvements in some areas, but sold them to return to my original K5iis. I love the ruggedness, the layout, the IQ - the only downside is the fact that the latest Pentax lenses don't work properly with this age of camera

Hi
I have a k S2 and I like all the features it brings especially the rotation and tilting LCD screen. As you go through the manual it has a long list of features. I only recently updated to the KF as it matches all the features of the K S2. If you have a good K S2 I would go with that. If handles all the Pentax lenses well.

I have owned a K5iis and still have a K-S2.
You have a hard choice. I kept the K-S2 and upgraded the k5 to a K3 to get support for current lenses.
Mainly because of the flippy screen which I use pretty often for ground level or over the head shots.
I was very sad to see the K5 go, it had some undefinable quality of rightness about the way it handled
which the K3 and now K3iii don't quite have.
For me it was all about the flippy screen, if that's not important to you ....

Keep both .
2 reasons, Murphy's Law says that either or both will happen:
1. Shortly after you sell one you'll find something you want to do for which it would have been perfect but of course you no longer have it.
2. Shortly after you sell one the remaining camera will develop a nasty fault.
Of course, Murphy's Law still applies if you keep both, in which case both cameras will continue to work perfectly and you'll never find a use for either.
Trust me, Murphy and I have had a close relationship for a very long time...

That Murphy bloke must be a bloody magician.... the smegger knows where I am most of the time as well!!
I am errring towards the K-S2.... mainly because of Wifi and flippy flappy screen! BUT....
The aperture thing has got me worried. My main camera is a K3, and k5ii is my back up. I use the K-S2 for astro, so I suppose the aperture thing is negated because it will be attached to a telescope.
I think I have just talked myself in keeping the K5II... but I am blaming you Lubbyman!!
