Shot through the window of my hotel room in Clevedon, Somerset UK in feb.
Overlooking the severn estuary at low tide, facing towards Wales during sunset - Best £5 I have spent in 2023!

Hey, I've got that lens too. Hardly ever use it though. Perhaps I should - that's a rather good photo!

I like the funny coloured water The lighting there is wonderful.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Yes the colour of water here has been marveled over for years

Did you know .....
"The Severn Estuary it carries lots of mud and has one of the highest tidal ranges in the world — about 50 feet (15 metres). The estuary's funnel shape, its tidal range and the underlying geology of rock, gravel and sand, produce strong tidal streams and high turbidity, giving the water a notably brown coloration.
Up to 10 million tonnes of silt are churned up and carried along in suspension by tidal currents running at seven metres per second."

I also picked one up cheaply this year - it came on a MZ50 that I bought for my grandson who said he wanted a FILM camera !
I'd not used it so prompted by your great shot Geoff (Moore) I got it out today and put it on my K70.
It had rained here all night and all morning so when the sun broke through after lunch I grabbed a few shots of our Magnolia bush before the buds get eaten by the 'tree rats' !
I found I had to wind the EV down to -5 to help reduce blown highlights so here is one taken at 80mm using Tav 1/500 @ f/5.6 and ISO200
