Weekly #894 - 'MOTION' Competition

Title Weekly #894 - 'MOTION'
Judge davidtrout
Closing Date 24/11/2024
Description
This week's competition is on the subject of 'Motion' The content is entirely up to the entrant but I'm not looking for 'intended camera movement' where the whole image is blurred artistically but a scene where someone or something is obviously on the move through the picture. It could be sports photography, street scene, industry, wildlife, trains. planes. a dog chasing a rabbit or a constable in pursuit of a shop lifter. I leave the details to your creativity.
Usual rules apply: entries must be taken on Pentax camera or their excepted clones. The lens can be of any make that fits your camera.

Thank you David for setting the competition and for your comments.

Again, great images here so I am chuffed to be awarded runner up.

ArsenAL's winning shot is magical and well done to those in joint third.

All the best!

Well done to ArsenAI and podiums.
Also to host Davidtrout for the excellent critique of all entries, if in shall we say, a slightly roundabout manner.
I think its the older computers that don't receive the notification to judging required, at least I think so, as it happened to me last time but when I looked at my iPad the notification was there but not on my going on 12 years old desk top.
Might be wrong , of course

Congratulations to ArsenAl and the podium places and of course to David for an interesting competition, with some interesting interpretations for him to judge

Since I last judged a weekly competition the task now seems more difficult to operate I have a relatively new computer but creating a folder to contain all my comments in one go defeated me this time.

I rather liked the idea of having the comments under each image. It made it far easier to link the appraisal to the photograph. The way forward, perhaps!!

I open a duplicate tab using one to input comments 'live' and the other to review the entries. I do like the comments under each shot though!

I make a word document, and do as many as I can before Sunday night, then copy and paste the whole lot. Can never trust a computer not to update Firefox overnight and lose everything
