Morning All,
Thank you for all your great entries, you've given me plenty to look at.
I'm finding myself drawn more strongly to the images with cars in motion, not to say there aren't some lovely static shots and studies.

First off the starting line

Perspicador Wedding Car
Very saturated colours, the car set nicely in the frame. I like the colour match of the car to the Fusia.

paulb531 Taking a plunge
The car going a little too fast by the looks but, makes for a lovely and interesting shot, well captured. Maybe a bit tight in the frame for me but, a well timed shot.

newbiek50user Classic cars at Festival Widnes
Classic view nicely composed, no extraneous clutter in a parkland setting makes for a good shot.

gmw12 American Oldtimers in Havana
Love these colourful american classics the big pink bonnet and grille in the foreground filling almost half the frame, nice one!

Johnriley Jaguar E Type
Lovely angle, interesting but uncluttered background with a kind of low fi, high contrast edit, some loss of detail but I think it works a treat.

mr.mellow The Yellow Horse
Lovely sunny day and interesting location, I do find the image a bit tight to the front of the car and with the fountain spouting from the cars cabin. It is an interesting shot but, a little confused maybe.

vic cross Ladies in RED
Not one, not two......SIX! Now I fess up I'm not really a car person. I love some of the shapes and lines of especially old cars and the engineering but don't know anything much about them so I'll pass on spotting the odd one out, I'm sure someone will come forward and tell me. What I can say is I like what you've done here, very much.

Hazyj Bentley 4.5 litre 1928
Okay not the sharpest image but plenty sharp enough for me given the poor weather conditions. A little bit of motion blur shows in the tyres at your chosen shutter speed helping to give us the sense of motion. I'd say well judged all around including the composition.

red5isalive Lewis Hamilton full send at Monaco 2019
Another 125th of a second shot and it gives us a great sense of speed and motion but Hamilton's helmet looking lovely and sharp, truly good panning technique what with him coming at that angle and full on accelerating.

davejenny MG ZS180 2.5l V6 QuadCam engine bay,
I wish it looked like that under my car bonnet! Goodness knows what it all means but, I bet it goes! Glad you worked out how to enter, I only spotted your question this morning. Nice under the bonnet shot.

pipinmels German car Museum
On the one hand we do have plenty to look at in this shot. I think you have done well to try and frame the image to reduce the clutter in this individual / quirky looking museum. So an interesting shot to look at and study but a little too cluttered to show the cars off properly.

Spitfire SEL out and about in Antony
Now I'm jealous, I'd love to have one of these in the garage. The light was a bit dull and flat at the time of taking and I think it would have been a good idea to take the cover off for the shoot but, lovely car, interesting colour.

SteveF Autumnal Vauxhall
I do like everything about this photograph, the setting, the framing, the dirt and debris being thrown out the back and most importantly it coveys the sense of fun and joy of motoring.

Iam1of2 car-and-shack
Good study of this sorry tale of a fall from grace. Perhaps the shadows could be lifted and a slight twist of the camera to recompose? Your image tells us a sorry tale very well.

EricD1306
Lovely to have a steam car included and one that is on the road. Great sense of fun again, I like the waving couple. The icing on the cake would have been a slower shutter speed and pan to give us a better sense of movement, still an enjoyable image.

Bikerider008 67 Ford GT
Well framed shot, you have chosen to freeze the car with your choice of shutter speed and I do think that is a shame when we are looking at a muscle car on a race track, a slower shutter speed and some panning could have given us so much more in my opinion but, good clean sharp shot that does show the car well.

davidtrout
A really well composed and executed study, maybe a little tight to the frame edge regarding the mudguard and the headlamp but, really one classy shot.

JAK Engine Farmyard
Someone at the museum has a sense of fun. A good shot and a nicely different take for the competition.

Noelcmn M-power
You've isolated the subject and in this case I think the tight crop was exactly the right thing to do. Not sure what is going on in the very top of the image, I can't quite work it out but, the whole image keeps us where we should be, sharply focused on the car.

That seems like quite a high number of entries for recent times so thank you all once more for joining in and entering the competition. Please also remember that I am just some bloke on the internet that is a keen photographer and happens to shot Pentax, I'm not claiming to be an expert.
I can't put off selecting the winner- Drum roll please

Good competition which attracted rather more entries than of late. Thanks to Nigel for the choice of subject and judging. Well done to the occupants of the podium and to the HCs, thanks to Nigel for including me in their number. I loved Iam1of2's rusty car and old shed.

Thanks for the 2nd. place. The odd one is a little blue car in the background of the Bentley. Well done to all the rest of you. A real good turnout this week.
CHEERS Vic.
Born again biker with lots of Pentax bits. Every day I wake up is a good day. I'm so old I don't even buy green bananas.

Fab Competition, wonderful submissions. Congrats SteveF, lovely bit of nostalgia there! Nice atmosphere. Congrats extended to vic cross and red5isalive, andnot forgetting the HM's davidtrout, johnriley, Hazyj and paulb531. Thanks Nigel, for the challenge, C&C's, as always much appreciated. To answer, the stuff at the top are 3 other BMW's. I did get as low as possible, but seemingly not enough.

Thanks for the podium position Nigel. I guess Lewis would be a bit dissapointed as he is used to be #1 but #3 for me is pretty great
