Hello,

First of all, congratulations to all!

Thank you so much for doing the honor to participate in this contest # 565 contest of the week "musical instruments"
Thanks to drofmit, poliver, johnriley, davidtrout, perspicador, jak, Noelcmn, tyronet2000 and i-berg

Very beautiful pictures. Each imprint of the sensitivity of the authors. Sometimes simple shots, sometimes more elaborate,
These things such as the view by the eye of the photographer or even more worked with treatment software: In short, not all the obvious for me
to designate a "winner" ....

So I chose on the basis of my own sensitivity, my taste for the graphic side, the mystery, the atmosphere of the photo.

First of all a little word on each of the clichés:

"Guarneri pattern" by i-Berg - A very pretty picture beautifully composed. Blur on the strings of the violin and the background in general
well transmits the idea of vibration. The soul of the violin is highlighted here and the warm tones of the ensemble are pleasant.
I like a lot, one of my favorites.

"All ready for your practice, sir!" by JAK - A nice trip back in time, you can imagine sitting in the corner of the hearth ready to listen
an air of harpsichord while sipping a glass of sherry! Nice atmosphere in this photo.

"Angel Delight" by Perspicador's - Here the recital is started, two angels make us hear the deep voice of the cello and
the melodious song of the violin. Beautiful vibrations in a beautiful and tender image. One regret: not having been present at the concert!

"Voice of God" by davidtrout - I am impressed. I imagine the low vibrations emitted by these organs in the big nave
of the cathedral! They take me to the guts and submerge me. The angle of view between the arcades is intelligent, deep, very graphic,
it recalls the shape of the mouths of the pipes. I am transported in "the Phantom of the Opera" and I listen to Faust of Gounod. My favorite picture

"The Music of Love" by johnriley - Tenderness, love, romance ... on this Mother's Day, here in Belgium, a very beautiful picture of circumstances.
A nice composition full of sweetness. The red of the rose enhances the whole and illuminates the keyboard of the piano. Chopin arrives, the silence is in the audience,
There is more than to listen to his fingers running on black and ivory keys ... Superb photo!

"Strum" by poliver - Vibrations, resonances. The blur of the hand that scrapes the strings of the guitar transmits the movement to the strings. The chord sounds
in the box that sends the sound back to our attentive ears. Classical, folk, flamenco, country - music ...? Melodies are going on in my head
and make me dream about traveling around the world. A beautiful picture evocative and good in the subject too.

"Dark notes ... Deep vibrations" by drofmit - Like a stained glass! A beautiful vibratory motion effect technically rendered with mastery.
Like a human voice the cello "sings" to our ears. It's melancholic, hypnotic, magical ... "The Swan" of Saint-Saëns is not far
and invites us to the walk. An excellent achievement!

"The Old Violin" by Noelcmn - Put on a shelf this old violin seems forgotten. He languishes and waits for a beautiful and delicate hand to come and make him vibrate
and enchant the space around him. A photo that gives me the wave to the soul, which makes me sad, even if it 's a pretty picture.

"Organ" by tyronet2000 - This beautiful old organ is waiting for a score, a musician and a choir to perform a magnificent gospel.
The whole ensemble will sound throughout the church before flying to the sky after opening our souls. A beautiful photo of a beautiful instrument

Who am I to judge someone else's picture ?!
A photography lover who loves art in general. It is therefore on the basis of my feelings in front of your very beautiful images that I had to make a choice:

The picture that concerns me and moves me the most is "Voice of God" by davidtrout ! He is the winner of this competition # 565 !

I am French speaking and I used the Google translator. I apologize if English is not perfect, thanks

Francis... thank you for the comments... and congratulations to David!! I love the way all the curves on the pipes and the arch of stone compliment each other.
And if you are worried about your English... you should see my French... at least Google makes it readable!!

[Googled it... !! I am in the middle of a flyer for Fête de la Nature]
Never be afraid to talk about your techniques...

Yes, a hearty well done Francis, and a well chosen winner there, which I thought was in the running. Lovely mood and isolation there, combined with very good composition. Congrats David. Thanks Francis, a lovely challenge which, like me, all musicians will take delight in. And if you think your english is bad- try my French.

Thank you Francis for the competitiion, your comments and awarding me 1st place. Congratulations to ther other contestants, there were some marvellous entries. Your English is excellent by the way, some English regional accents (my region for instance) make standard English sound like a second language. I have an idea for this week's topic and I'll post it later today.
