Apologies for the rather short and slightly belated comments. It's not easy to photograph something we're so familiar with we hardly even often notice how interesting it may be to others. Thank you for participating

Winners will be tricky as I found all the submissions interesting but since it has to be done:

First - In this city by i-Berg
Second - Out Walking by Davidwozhere
Third - Victoria Hall by GlynM

Honorary mention to each and everyone of you. Thank you.

1. On Mill Lakes by Perspicador - what a lovely place and evidently a great spot for bird shots. I'd reverse the proportions a bit, have more of the lake and less of the sky but that's probably because right now, I really miss seeing lush, green scenery!

2. Out Walking by Davidwozhere - I'd be out walking all the time, too. Would love to see more pictures of that viaduct. One thing I don't miss is rain.

3. 2 old ruins by Stu62 - if you are still around to actually read this comment: you are a brave man haha. A magical spot.

4. Victoria Hall by GlynM - I love this. The hall, the pose (goes really well with the stage behind it) and the use of the interval mode for the 'selfie'

5. The Hell Hole by Tyronet2000 - does not look particularly 'hellish' to me. Rather cosy. Like the prints on the walls and the lil skeleton Just getting settled in a new place myself and looking forward to setting up my own 'hell hole' again!

6. In this city by i-Berg - impressive decoration and great composition and proportions. Love the blue as well

7. Sunrise on Price Street by Noelcmn - Beautiful light, colors and field of view.

8. Seven Sisters East Sussex by ken2390 - one of my favourite places in England. We where there this summer for my first attempts at shooting the Milky Way. Fantatic skies at night despite the milkd light polution above the horizon at sea and the passing cars on the road. A Post card composition, if a bit underexposed.

9. Playing trains by Smudge - what a great hobby and setup. I'd be camping in the garden with the camera Went to a model railways show in London few months back with a friend who's an enthusiast as well. I can imagine becoming 'addicted'. Lucky young man you've got there

Thank you again and over to you I-Berg.

Thanks also for awarding third place to my Victoria Hall selfie .

Congratulations to i-Berg for the well deserved winning image, fellow podium member Davidwozhere and everyone else for a great set of individual interpretations.

Thank you Magdalena, congrats to David and Glyn. How right - it was more difficult than it first appeared. That may explain the reduced number of images entered?

Anyway, thinking cap on - will post a new topic when I get home from work.
