New DA*300 with 1.4 TC

Been out playing with a new lens today, 300mm f4 prime, with 1.4TC attached. Thanks to Chris at SRS .

It was a horrible grey day with no light, but had to try it! These are not great images but super impressed with the quality of the lens... WOW!

A great start with the new lens! Glad you're enjoying it straight away. Doesn't look like you had any problems nailing the focus

im thinking about this lens,what does it make it with a 1.4 tc attached?.there really good pics btw

300/4 x 1.4 = 420/5.6

Nice start Andy. Have to say I have only used the 300 once since purchasing it in January. Must get myself one of those TCs!

Cheers Carl, haven't tried the TC with other lenses yet, in fact I also bought a 50-135 with the 300 and haven't played with that yet either! Lots of new stuff to get used to
